Well for some reason i have this weird urge to overclock my gtx 780 to titan speed, but i dont know how to caculate those stuff.
i currently got my gpu clock runing at 1134 including turbo boost, and added to memory clock +248 because someone told me like that its exactly 7Ghz.

so is it already as fast as a titan?
and how do i calcutale those stuff, i mean, if its running on 6000mhz on default, how come by adding 248 it gets to 7kghz?

Thanks.

well 780's standard memory clock is 1500 Mhz and since GDDR5 memory is quad data rate[ not exactly quad, just using it to give you basic picture] the the clock speed is multiplied 4 times insted of two like in DDR1,2,3. so 1500 Mhz X 4+ 6Ghz.
1500 +248 =1748 Mhz. 1748 X 4 = 6992 Mhz so it's just 8Mhz shy of 7Ghz to be exact

thanks, and its actually 6008 by default, so it is 7Ghz.

and is it as good as a titan with those settings?

well its close but you might wanna increase the core clock too. just memory OC isn't gonna cut it.

I also got a core clock oc, + 137mhz, and with the built in turbo boost, it gets to 1134 in games, which is like 300 more then default i belive.

ah in that case it should have exceeded titan's performance
