Hi

Can u telll me my usb external hard drive i cannot access it ask for format and i have a lot data inside can somebody help me in this case

1). Do not format this drive, if you really want to get back all your data inside.

Have you tried plugging the external drive into another computer to see if you get the same error message? If not, try that first and if it is recognized back up the data on the drive. I will second what Melanie3523 said, do not format the drive and do not attempt to write any files to the drive.
