First of, i have a partition on my hdd for a 32bit and 64bit Win 7 option.

I was moving all the contents from my old pc to my new build with a different MOBO;
i forgot that i left my pc in sleep mode and went ahead with removing the components. later did i realise when finally booting the new PC that the bios came up with a error and said something about the RAM losing its data, it asked whether id like to carry on with some of the data it remembered but with the chance that it could run a little dodgy, or just restart and forget the data. so, i chose the restart option.

From then on, whenever i booted my pc into Windows it would get to the starting screen and crash with a blue screen. it does this at the same point on both partitions and both windows just cannot seem to repair themselves nor even revert back to a older back up.

So far it appears that all my components are in full working order as they did when they were in the other MOBO.

I'd rather Not have to re do my hard drive but if that's the last option then i guess I'd have to. Can anybody give me advice on what to do please? Much appreciated.

So you took the HDD out and put it onto a new Mobo then booted from that drive?
I believe the problem you are having is that the Windows 7 install has the original Motherboard and device drivers.

Can you start it in Safe mode? if you can then delete/install the new drivers for the board.

Yes, this is what sometimes happens.

I'd rather Not have to re do my hard drive but if that's the last option then i guess I'd have to.

And this is the fix.
