I got this motherboard last month.
Last Friday I decided to put all new components together however when I have keyboard and mouse connected at the same time I immediately get black screen with pixels on the left side of the screen which goes from the top to the bottom.
Would anyone have any idea what is wrong? I can use my keyboard and mouse without nay problem on my old PC

Did you try different USB ports?

Black pixels could infer the wrong resolution, it could be that you currently have the resolution way too low for the monitor to acccept.
Your resolution should not drop lower than 800 x 600.

edit - The mouse combination could be affected by a very low resolution, try to use the mouse only the change the desktop resolution, make sure the monitor is set to default on the Menu Monitor option. Restart, go to BIOS, enable USB mouse/keyboard, Save & exit.

Yes. It happens on any two USB ports. It is fine when I have either mouse or keyboard connected but cannot use two at the same time

I do not think it is resolution mate. If I leave the screen black more pixels appears everywhere. It just looks like both keyboard and mouse causes short circuit or something like that.
I had difficulty installing fresh operating system cos my PC kept hanging up it was even happening at boot screen but no pixels just hang up.

You should list all your specs, but it might be a bad PSU that is shorting the usb ports.
Hanging screen could also infer under-powered PSU.

Will try to put my specs this evening.
I have discovered that I can connect other devices like pen-drive and mobile and everything works also my keyboard and mouse works when one is connected to USB 2.0 and other to USB 3.0

You probably got a gaming mouse and/or keyboard, they only work when one is in usb 3.0 and the other is in usb 2.0
Better not to have the pen drive or tablet or other usb devices not plugged in when not in use.
