Hello , i had this problem with my CPU heating up and shutting down when it was solicitated , i resolved that with a couple of FANs , but now i have another problem i have a YouTube channel in what i post HD 720p videos daily and from some reason now i cannot render the entire video HD 720p or 1080p Full HD without my CPU slowly heating up until 86-90 degrees and shutting down , i mean this worked before and those FANs helped allot but when its time to render the PC shuts down , could it be my power supply and should i get rid of one of my FANs or what , please help i really need to start making videos again or i will get stuck with my YouTube channel .

My PC Specs are:
CPU : AMD Athlon 64 Processor 3800+ 2,4 ghz
GPU : Nvidia Gainward GeForce 9500 GT 128-bit 1GB
Motherboard: HP Nance
RAM: 4 GB DDR2 (2x 2GB slots)
PSU: 300W
Case Cooling:
A Spire CPU Cooler with stock tall radiator , a Arctic Cooling F8 case fan that blows air from outside to the CPU connected to a 3x3-pin to Molex adapter , a case fan mounted to the video card connected to de Molex adapter aswell , and a 80mm stock fan connected to the motherboard.
Please Help :| I really need to start recording.
I re-applyed thermal paste and everything worked fine , i was able to render videos again the maximum temp. was like 79 - 80 but without shutdowns. Now 1-2 days after that when i was trying to render the CPU got hot again and reached more than 86c and turned off again in the rendering like 50 - 80 % depending (and i render a maximum of 2min video in 720p HD avi format) . Now i think asa a cooling solution i should buy some really good thermal paste like a MX-5 (i have some copper based one and my heatsink has aluminium) and a good CPU Cooler to prevent shutdowns , also i think the CPU is hot because the case temp gets hotter due to video card heating too , my video card gets really hot i have a Gainward 9500 GT that has a heatsink grill and i mounted a fan to it should i re-apply some thermal paste on the GPU too and put a better FAN on it ?
Also is very hot in my room , now that affects games too ... 86c and shutdown.
PLEASE HELP !! PLEASE....

You need an aftermarket cpu cooler. Or you need to upgrade to something modern that uses half the power and creates half the heat.

For about $160 you could get a new cpu, motherboard and ddr3.

I don't see the point of re-applying thermal paste unless you did it incorrectly the first time.

Is your case on the floor? Is the room hot? Have you bought an aftermarket cpu cooler?

To be honest, that machine is old and tired. You should consider upgrading it to something cooler and more efficient.

I can't really help you when you don't answer my questions. You even quoted my questions in your response, but failed to answer them.

Ow , really sorry , i have my PC in furniture but with extits on front and rear , on the sides i have a couple of inches space like you could stick your palm in both sides , as the cpu cooler i have the standard heatsink with a Spire cpu cooler fan , i didn´t replace the heatsink because the on ethat comes with the Spire is small and mine´s 2x bigger ... should i buy a good FAN for the cpu aswell ? like another Artctic ? and some real good MX-4 ? Now the room is hot beacause the summer is here , but i didn´t have this problem on the past winter and it was hotter in the room... and i had only 1 case fan (and i didn´t have the video card) now i have 2 case fans , the CPu fan and the video card FAN. I dont know... but i need to fix this somehow ...
