Can one hard drive be connected to many computers.

A computer lab is being build for a primary school. Can there be a system where there can be about 20 screens connected to one hard drive? If so what is this system called? Is this thread even in the right section lol?

u can have a LAN system with one PC as the Server and 20 others as clients

Your terminology is a bit off, but yes, you can setup a thin client setup with one server running the operating system and a bunch of terminals getting the operating systems off that.

And things like that. That sounds like what you are asking about, not just multiple computers sharing files on a file server.
