do i need more ram?

Hi, i want to play games like planetside 2 and im wondering if i need more RAM.

This are my pc's specs:
-intel core 2 quad cpu Q300 2.5 ghz
-3gb RAM
-gtx 650ti boost 2gb gpu
- i dont know my mobo.
-64 bit OS

for gaming 8 gigs is the sweet spot

The minimum requirements can be found on the website for the game:

https://www.planetside2.com/faq

It lists 4 GB of RAM as the minimum, so while you may be able to get the game to run, I would agree with jcurry23 and upgrade to at last 8 GB of RAM.

Your CPU seems a little on the weak side; it might work for planetside 2, but for more hardware intensive games - I doubt it...
