Haswell motherboard for gaming

I am getting the i7-4770k and a GTX-770/ possibly SLI later and i am looking for a motherboard from Asus or AsRock that has a LGA1150 socket and supports this CPU and SLI. I'm gonna be gaming heavily/ 2560x1440 monitor n such. It's my first build.

If for gaming then you don't need an i7. An i5 4670k is sufficient for most situations since games can't take advantage of i7's hyper-threading technology. As for motherboard, it depends on your budget and how high do you want to push your CPU to. I find Asrock Z87 Extreme4 a good budget choice for your needs.
