Hi. I wonder if Acer V5-571P-323c8G75Mass is something to buy, Is it good enought to make the most common things on.
Should i buy an Asus VivoBook S550 instead?
Asus VivoBook S550 series has better advantage over Acer V5-571P models.
Comparing Processors: The asus model supports upto i7 with the higher GHz while the other model supports upto i5 which is relatively low in speed compared to the former.
Battery runtime: The asus has better than Acer's. You can refer the articles below to view the test results. Asus has the touch screen feature while Acer doesn't. Moreover, with Asus you could go upto 1TB of HDD storage. Both support decent amount of RAM which is 8GB.
Conclusion on Asus S550: The brightness, contrast and color reproduction regrettably leave a lot of room for improvement making the screen the biggest weakness of the otherwise good ultrabook, despite its touch feature. However, we quite liked the robust chassis of the S550CM because of the very tightly pulled hinges and the display's increased stability. Alongside the elegant design, slim build, potent equipment featuring a dedicated GPU and the decent emission values, it represents a good and attractive 15.6-inch ultrabook for a reasonable price.
Conclusion on Acer V5-571P: The system is powerful enough to handle the daily workload and stays cool doing so. We do have issues with the rather anemic battery life of 3 hours and the very low brightness of the display, which makes working outdoors very hard indeed.
So based on the review and the budget you could make the better choice, I would recommend the Asus model over Acer. Good luck.
