do you think it would be worth changing the motherboard?
or would this processor do?

or are there better processors? im just trying to find the best possibly equipment, money isnt an issue at the moment as i just want to get an understanding of what is there.

if you have an x58 motherboard, you probably have a decent cpu as it is. the slowest cpu that can fit in that is an i7-920. whatever cpu you have, you should make sure you have a decent cpu cooler, and overclock it. if u do want to upgrade, just change the motherboard.
