is the ud4h worth the extra money or should i save a little cash and go with the ud3h? what would i be losing out on if i went with the ud3h?

Sure the 4 is better specced, and it costs more for it. The question you should ask yourself is what are you going to put on that board? Do you want all the extra slots if your not filling all the slots on the UD3H.
