Off hand I can't think of a single mobo for an i5 that can run DDR2, DDR2 support in mobos sort of went by the wayside with socket 775, i5s came after

I wouldnt suggest DDR2 because DDR3 is cheaper and 2x faster. Not too sure if such board even exist since oldest i5 is around the time of DDR3. i suggest get ddr3 or wait for ddr4 that is rumored to come out later this year and then get a motherboard for that.
