Ok, so i've just ordered a AMD FX 4100 ASUS Board Bundle + 8GB Memory in order to upgrade my (Franky, tired & overworked) Athlon 64 300+ Set up. The Motherboard in the bundle is a ASUS M5A78L-M LX & by all accounts, has an onboard HD3000. I'm transplanting my HD6570 but was wondering how to set up the Hybrid Crossfire capability, & indeed, if it's worth doing so? Cheers for any replies. I'm not a newbie, but still a little green!! :) Well, we've all got to learn something new sometime haven't we!!

Cheers for the reply. Take it it'd be a waste of time then!

A Series? Receipt definitely says FX 4100!

Thanks Stig. I'll not be bothering with that idea then. Saves some time I suppose! :)

For A Series APUs you can crossfire the GPU that's integrated in the CPU with the 6570 ... that would be worthwhile.

However, the FX series lacks that functionality so you're better off just installing the 6570 and running that by itself.

Hmm, that might be worth a look. Just found a bundle with an A6 3500 APU for marginally less than what i've just paid. Might be worth getting a refund & going for the cheaper option!! That's a first!
