Hey, I'm looking for some people to recommend an Intel CPU build for under £800 for gaming, I don't need any other peripherals, but I do have some rules on the builds, it has to have a Fractal R4 and a high quality PSU, thanks.

Not under 800, but is this okay?

Ooo, that £3.03 over, I just don't think I can push the budget to that =P. What about this, it's a 7950 but that's still a fast card, even more so when I only have a 1600x900 screen but it's stock OC and it's ASUS's TOP range which they cherry pick in a big way.

Oh god, now I just realised that I could get a nice HyperX 3k 120gb SSD if I went with the FX-6350 and the HD 7950.

If you don't plan to overclock too far, you can buy a cheaper CPU Cooler. It's only 3.03 over. Not worth dropping a GPU for it. I would rather pay an extra 25 later for a 212 EVO and not overclock until then than regret the drop of a GPU because of 3.03 that would not fit my budget.

I was joking about the £3 hens the "=P" =P. I know the 7970 runs hotter and a bit louder than the 7950, and like I said I'm running at 1600x900 so I'm going to be getting insane FPS with a 3570k and a 7950 anyway. Personally I think the 212 Evo is worth it just to make the part last longer and for some slight overclocking.

What about a Haswell build? The 4670 is the same price as the 3570k right now.

I honestly don't know if it would be better to OC a 3570k, get a 4670 or get a 6350+SSD.
