Both are very solid performers. At least in NL the GTX 680 is 30/90 euros more expensive depending on manufacturer. The HD7950 and GTX 680 trade blows with one getting on top depending on the game, but across the board the 680 scores more wins (but it also costs more). There is a chance that new games will be more Radeon optimized, but I can't imagine that nVidia will sit back. Note the games you want to play, look at some benches, see which company support which studios and which games are they going to release in the future and base your buy on that. Also I should note that the HDs top tier cards require more power to run, which also translates to more heat and more noise.
