Hello,
In a near future build I will be purchasing an Asus Sabertooth 900FX R2.0 Motherboard. Along with that, I will be purchasing a GTX 770 that takes up two expansion slots and thus blocks the motherboard's built in PCIe x1. Normally, this wouldn't be a problem except I will be buying a PCIe x1 wireless adapter. I was wondering if I could place this wireless adapter into the black PCIe x4 slot on the motherboard without affecting the PCIe x16 performance of the GTX 770? Any insight is much appreciated.

Solution
Yes you can do that. I have the GEN3 model of that board and am actually running my wireless card in the bottom PCIe x16 slot. It does not affect your graphics card.
