I just started running a Prime95 Stress Test and so far the max temp on my 3570k overclocked to 4.4ghz after about an hour was 87*C. Im a little worried that this is too high, should I bring the OC down to 4.2ghz? Planning on running this test all night.

My specs:
i5-3570k
ASRock z77 Extreme4
Kingston HyperX 1600mhz 2x4GB RAM
Cooler Master Seidon 120M
No Graphics Card atm
Zalman Z11 Plus Case

What voltage do you use cause i'm running 4.83ghz with 1.35V on a Noctua NHU12P with similar temps...

80 to 90 Celsisus in Stress Test is the max for 24/7 usage (consider that Prime load a lot more than any application) so you're ok in temps, however for only 4.4ghz, you should try to lower the Vcore as it's surely too high for that clock speed (or you have the worst chip ever)

I am a first time PC builder just so you guys know, so if I say anything that does not make sense that is why haha! I have not changed the voltages since I have gotten the CPU as far as I know. I stopped the test and went into BIOS and saw a number beside Vcore that says +1.040V.
