Hello. I posted this on CPU forum and got few answers however I still

do not understand. I appreciate all the answers and i thank you guys for that.

Here is the problem.

As you can see in the picture, there is ATX 12V 8pin socket in the MB and

currently, 4pin connector has been connected to it from a PSU which I don't know

what brand it is. ( probably not good one. )

The pc runs alright except it is very slow when playing WOW.

here is the spec

CPU : AMD a10-5800k Trinity
RAM : Corsair DDR3-1600 8GB (2x4GB)
MB : Gigabyte GA-F2A75M-D3H FM2
HDD : WD caviar blue 500GB
PSU : 420W ISO 550PP -> i dunno where it came from.. it came with the case.

So my problem and my questions are,

1. World of warcraft runs really slow even with 800x600 resolution with lowest
settings.

2. Booting to windows is a bit late than it should be. (IMO..)

3. I really don't think it is because of 1600 DDR3 ram..

4. I have Corsair CXV 430W PSU on the way and do you think it will solve
the problem?

5. What if the computer will perform same as before even after putting a proper
PSU ? Could it be the MB then ?

6. Whats the best way to do with HD7750 in my situation in order to maximize
the performance?

Thank you very much for reading and looking forward hearing from you guys.

Sorry about too many questions.

Hello there. I am a bit of newbie when it comes to electrical stuff.. so.. here i go.
1. CPU has not been OC'ed since I do not have cooling device
2. I dont know if it is running at default or 1600 with correct timing.. I dont know what timing is. Sorry..
3. As for MB, i installed just drivers that I got in the box and for the video drivers i updated to the latest.

Thanks

Which case do you have? Can you down load these two softwares. 1.cpu-z and 2.core temp.

CPU-Z will tell us about your voltage range (might help us in pegging whether your voltages are operating within the optimum range) and also monitor your cpu's frequency (will tell us if your cpu is working at it's rated frequencies)

Core temp will tell us whether your cpu core temperatures are within acceptable limits.

Kindly also write the results in your posts as I cannot view any images on my office pc.

get back with that info and we'll see if we can narrow down on your problem.

good Luck

model Num: IS-500PP
AC input 230V 4A 47-63Hz
DC output +3.3V==22.0A(ORG) +5V==36.0A(RED) +12V==18A (YEL)
+5Vsb==2.0A(PURP) -5V==0.5A(WHITE) -12V==0.5A(BLUE)

FUSE rating 5A.250~(+3.3V&+5V=220W max
max output 420W

These are PSU details and I cannot do cpu-z and core temp since I unplugged the cables i was nervous

if the PSU will screw up the system so i unplugged everything..

however I actually ran cpu-z once and the core frequency was 3.8 as stated in the label of cpu box and

core temp was 67 degrees. This is all i can remember sorry..

I am out of money now so i am just hoping there is no problem with MB and any other systems than current PSU..

and there was no 8pin connector on this PSU so i connected 4pin to 8pin socket..

Ah do not be nervous. Just coz our system is lagging in gameplay, it does not mean that it will blow up or short out. Since you've already ordered a corsair psu, you may as well wait for it to arrive and then use it.

The cpu temps seem fine at 67C as the APU's can handle more temps than the regular desktop FX series.

D3H family mobo's have been pretty reliable. Does not seem to be a mobo issue.

are all the connectors shown in the link above plugged in?
