hey there,
i know you are from india and would prefer flipkart but here is a reference from U.S. market. For $500~ approximately this is your best option.
-one of the best cpu for gaming (overclockable version)
-overclockable motherboard with full voltage options
-best fps graphics card for the least cash
-system is suitable for 450W psu.
Can anyone suggest a CPU,GPU and mobo combination for gaming for around 500$ (30000 INR).
Already have a 450W PSU and a cooler master heat sink and would like to use those.
PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant / Benchmarks
CPU: Intel Core i5-3570K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor ($209.99 @ Amazon)
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z77MX-D3H Micro ATX LGA1155 Motherboard ($119.99 @ Newegg)
Video Card: PowerColor Radeon HD 7870 XT 2GB Video Card ($229.99 @ Newegg)
Power Supply: SeaSonic 450W 80 PLUS Gold Certified ATX12V / EPS12V Power Supply (Purchased For $0.00)
Total: $559.97
(Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available.)

@n1ghtr4v3n yea because giving US price would totally help... not
On-topic: selected some worthy parts from flipkart :
AMD 3.5 GHz AM3+ FX 8320
MSI 970A-G46
Sapphire HD 7850 OC Edition 2 GB ( Seller: smartdeal )
Will a Corsair DDR3 4 GB RAM be enough? (I would like to play BF3 in med-high settings at 720p)

Yes. 4gb is enough for a budget gaming system. And you can play BF3 on high/ultra 720p with that setup I made. How would the 7770 (Sapphire OC edition) or the 650 Ti 1Gb perform as compared to 7850 hd (for my resolution)?
As I would also like to include a 500 gb hard drive(~3k) in my budget.

Best solution
Well just look for reviews on Toms, Techpowerup, etc . In BF3 650ti clearly outperforms 7770. This one, for example:

In order to sneak in a 500gb HDD, I think this graphic card would do: http://www.flipkart.com/sapphire-amd-ati-radeon-hd-7790... HD7790's performance in BF3 is on par with a 650ti, but performs better in almost any other games. Plus this card has better cooler than any gtx 650ti on flipkart.

I apologize for the inconvenience..but my budget just increased by 200$
.Could you suggest a better configuration?

200$ more, so about 42000 INR now, right? I'd suggest this:
FX 8320 ( no need for 8350 cuz you cooler should be able to push the 8320 to 8350's clock )
MSI 990FX-GD65 high-end chipset, proper xfire support,...
Seasonic S12II 620 Watts PSU . Your current PSU can't even handle a 7870 well, so it's best to grab a good PSU like this Seasonic one, that is sufficient to hold another card for crossfire in the future. If you only think of running 1 card then S12II 520 would be a better choice.
Graphics Card
Sapphire AMD/ATI HD 7850 HDMI OC Edition ( smartdeal ), due to limited budget, lets stick to this 7850. If you OC the card more ( using software like MSI after burner ) then the card can gain additional 20-30% in performance.
Amount Payable:
Rs. 39027

FX 8320 with MSI 990FX-GD65 or i5 3470 with an h77 chipset ?Solely from a gaming perspective coz i've read many reviews stating that i5 3470 is better than 8320 for gaming.(In case I don't want to oc).

Yes you can use that PSU with a 7850. Can you explain more about "button is stuck"? You meant the cable from the front of the case to the motherboard? The psu has an ON/OFF switch which is stuck on, ON..Although the computer still boots even if the switch is stuck. And my graphic card too is functional as I connected my cpu to the monitor through the dvi port of the graphic card.

Nope, it won't harm your parts. Just remember to unplug the power cord when you're not using the PC.HI again..I configured my system and am very happy with it!!
The problem is that I want to connect a 1 TB external hard drive to it, but it has the "Short-cut virus"..How do I prevent it from entering my computer?
