try changing the resolution to some other resolution and then back to the native resolution in AMD Vision Control Center. if it doesn't work, then try resetting your monitor settings to factory settings.

Try the following suggestions:

  • * Does your computer have on-board video? You may want to disable it in your bios if you do first then start up Windows. Then click start > run > dxdiag and click the display tab to see if the proper video card + driver is showing. If it's showing correctly then I would proceed with the below.

    * You could also check that the DPI setting is at 100%. Go to Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Display\Screen Resolution click Make text or other items larger then select smaller %100 (Default) hit apply.

    * I guess a couple things you could try is to download the newest video driver for your card from the manufacturer’s site, start your computer in safe mode and uninstall/delete the video drivers you previously installed. Then install just the newest one in safe mode and then reboot. (Note: Microsoft provides third-party contact information to help you find technical support. * What does it show for your monitor in Device Manager? If it is anything other than the correct name for it (generic plug and play, or non-plug and play), then it needs the monitor driver. If you haven't yet, run Windows Update and it should find a driver for your monitor or download the driver from the monitor’s manufacturer’s site and install them.

Which cable are you using? VGA or DVI or HDMI?? It could also be a cable fault. try using another cable.

You could also check that the DPI setting is at 100%. While minimizing during the game, DPI could have changed. Go to Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Display\Screen Resolution click Make text or other items larger then select smaller %100 (Default) hit apply.
