Hello!
I would like to ask for your oppinion on my idea to replace my GTX 670 with GTX 780.
I am curious if my current PSU (Seasonic M12II 520) is enough.
Now, it runs i7-870@4.0GHz and slightly overclocked GTX 670. In the past it was powering GTX 470 which as far as I know has higher power consumption than GTX 670.
Will this PSU be enough for GTX 780 (with OC ofc).

More about : safe

What are the rest of the specs ? I will need info of all parts for exact wattage. But anyways , I would recommend to change it since NVIDIA recommends a 600W PSU atleast for the GTX 780.

nope you will be fine its maximum rated power consumption is 250w so unless your overclockking the heck out of a sandy bridge e cpu your fine

nah your fine even at the max theretical consumption of 150+75+75=300 you still have over 200w left over for the cpu

So -
GPU - 250
CPU - 130
3xHDD - 100
1xSSD - 15
Motherboard - 50
= 545
So change the PSU. ( all wattages were approx )

1xHDD = 33W? I've read some tests and they report ~10W when loaded. Two of my HDD's are "green" models with 5400rpm.
SSD = 15W? I was convinced it will be <5W.

Okay , I said the wattage for a average HDD. And SSDs have 15W at times. And still you will need to change since it depends on wattage taken on OC by the GPU ( didn't include it since didn't have a idea on wattage taken ) -
CPU - 130
GPU - 250
HDD + SSD - 50
Motherboard - 50
= 480
But hey the wattage for OCing the GPU , Wattage for Disk Drive , And future upgrades like more SSD and HDD ? So yeah , get a 650W PSU.
