Hello I have a Gigabyte P61A-D3 main board with Marvell sata III raid controller. I have two 1TB Disk. the first one have Windows 7 OS on it and the second one isn't initialized.I want to create raid1 with this two disk.
In windows when I want to create raid1 with Marvell Storage Utility It Prompts: "Error: Disk has Running OS on it". Please guide me how to create raid1 without losing data (BIOS or Windows).

You can't create a RAID without data loss. Your motherboard manual will have instructions to create a bootable RAID 1.

Normally the steps are:
1. Use RAID bios to create RAID array
2. Install OS. There is a feature during the OS install that will allow you to load the RAID drivers. This is required.
3. Continue to install OS to the RAID array.
