I just built this computer less then a week ago, and its been doing a fair amount of freezing. which til now i ignored because now it has shut off by itself without any of those dumb windows updates and 100% sure it wasnt overheated. i have no idea what could be the problem all i know is i just dropped 2 grand on this, picked all the parts myself. and its doin this to me >.> if anyone could try and help i appreciate it alot

How bout telling us a little about it, components CPU, mobo, DRAM, PSU etc and more about exactly what it id doing, my first guesses are that the memory isn't set up right, underpowered PSU, bad CPU install (depending on CPU), tons of possibles, but basically RGD1101 summed it up, something not working right, to narrow it down need to know what you have ;)

Jot down the BSOD codes when it bluescreens might help, could be lots of things, first thought that comes up is they didn't set DRAM up right (happens all to often), what model is the DRAM. Another is BIOS not up to date, then Video driver not up to date, the components themselves look good and are compatible, but I'm always leery of store/shop built rigs, too many have folks that don't know what they are doing
