This is the configuration I am planning on building:
Processor:
Intel 3.5 GHz LGA1155 Core i7 3770K Processor

Motherboard:
MSI Z77 Mpower Motherboard

RAM:
Corsair Vengeance DDR3 8 GB (1 x 8 GB) PC RAM

Graphics Card:
Asus NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 2 GB GDDR5 Graphics

Optical Drive:
Asus DRW-24D3ST DVD Burner Internal Optical Drive

Hard Drive:
WD Caviar Green 2 TB Desktop Internal Hard Drive

Case:
Cooler Master CM 690 II Advanced Mid Tower Cabinet

Power Supply:
Cooler Master Thunder 700 Watts PSU

Are all of these components compatible with each other?
I have to other replacement options:
Intel 3.5 GHz LGA1150 4770K i7 4th Generation Processor
ASRock Z87 Extreme4 Motherboard

Is this a good gaming build?
Any recommendations?
My budget will not exceed more than Rs. 80000 [$1380]

Also if I plan on overclocking later, will I need to change my PSU?

PLEASE NOTE:
I can only buy a maximum of gtx 680 but that is too expensive here.
If convenient please refer to parts available at:

Go with the i5 4670k and Asrock Z87 extreme 4, you don't need hyperthreading for games, doesn't add performance.

Change the hard drive, to a Caviar Blue or Black, or a Seagate Barracuda, they are better suited as system drives than the Green.

I suggest changing the PSU just like legokill101 suggested. Get no less than a 600w ( since you plan on overclocking you want some overhead ), and no less than 80 plus bronze.

Now you've saved enough for a GTX 770. Nuff said.

If u want to play games then why r u choosing i7. Go with i5-4670k with Gigabyte z87x d3h. It is much better than ASRock mobo. ASRock don't have long life.
2. Go with corsair vengeince 2x4gb DDR3 1600mhz.
3. GPU go with Gigabyte or MSI gtx 770.
4. HDD don't go with cavier green go with cavier black. It's quality is much better.
5. PSU u can go with 600-650w PSU. It is enough for ur rig. But check it is haswell certified.
You really have a great budget un our country.
I hope it helps.
Thank you.

Hii
I know latest tech comes in India after minimum 2-6 months.
In this way u have 3 options.
1. Go with ivy bridgei5 3570k.
2. Wait for Haswell come in India.
3. You can find India's those whole sealers of pc who import from internationally with the help of internet and u can buy parts from them latest parts like mobo processor GPU etc.
I hope it helps.
Thank you.

If I am not into super intense gaming, do i still need the 770? [it is Rs.30000 here ($510)]
And what is the difference between 2x4 GB and 1x8 GB RAMs?

Hii
1. With MSI mobos my experience is not good. That's why I said about Asus and Gigabyte.
2. If u r not going to overclock then u can go with h87 mobo. Save some cash.
3. No you don't need gtx 770 if u compromise with ur gaming resolution. But for 1600X900 resolution 660 is enough. I said about gtx 770 because u said u can buy gtx 680.
4. New these mobos have 4 slots for ram then for more speed of pc duel slot is used for rams and these performs really good.
5. You can go with i5-3570k there is not lot of differences between these. Only 10% performance difference. But Haswell helps some future proof because incoming BROADWELL generation may also come in 1150 sockets.
I hope it helps.
Thank you.

You can go with high resolution of many games with gtx 660 on 1080p and all games u can play at medium resolution on 1080p. You will not much compromise with resolution with gtx 660. It is really a great GPU.

Thanks A MILLION :):):):)
LAST COUPLA QUESTIONS:
If I get these specs in a pre-built desktop/laptop [Alienware], should I get it? (P.S note this works out cheaper)
For a monitor:
1366x768
1600x900
1920x1080

As I have mentioned I am not into serious gaming or hardcore movie watching.

For monitor it's all ur choice how much resolution you need or depends on your budget. Resolution do not matters if you are not hardcore gamer.
According to me in these days get monitor which have least 1 HDMI port. In all new mobos mostly HDMI ports coming. And HDMI monitor has better quality than any other monitor.
I hope it helps.
Thank you.
