Hi guys, I had a question about my future build.
I was dumb enough to buy a PSU super early b/c of a good deal...
It was a Cooler Master Silent Pro M700. I should have researched more before I bought it
oh well.
So I plan to buy an 8870 in the fall (hopefully). (I am building my computer in August, keeping my 4870 for now) With overclocking, estimate the TDP is ~200w ? The 7870's have about ~200w tdp, so I am assuming the 8xxx series will be around the same.
So crossfire would be ~400w ? And on the CM Silent Pro M700, the 12v rail has 50A, so 600w. So theoretically, could this PSU support GPU and CPU overclocking? I'll have about 4 fans, 1 HDD, 1 SSD.
