is my intel core i5-3570k running too hot?

Hi so right now my cpu gets up too 43C-46C without playing and up to 51-55C while playing,
i have a corsair carbide 500r case and its 32C outside. My question is, is my cpu okay or is it too hot?
Also im using an EKL alpenfoehn aftermarket cpu cooler. Also its not overclocked.

  1. It's not tooo hot, but it's hot, have you applied the thermal paste correctly? What temps do you get when stressing? (e.g. with Prime95)

Anything longer than 45 minutes would do to check out the max temp.

So i was testing it now for 20 minutes and at the end it reached about 67-68C and i just turnet it off, also there are 2 fans missing in my case for the perfect airflow (1 At the top and the 1 at the bottom), could that be the problem? i dont really get it why it runs so hot :D also because i have a 200m fan on the side from my corsair case
  8. Your still at safe temps, you need to have a fan bringing air in from the front. Also look into getting an aftermarket cooler, the coolermaster hyper 212 is great and won't break the bank.

Ahh I see, then I think your good man. If your only hitting 55C while gaming I see no reason to worry, looks like your fine to me.
