Graphic Card Fan Works, But no display!

I just got a new Zotac Nvidia 660Ti 2GB Gfx card, but, when i boot my pc, the fans work, but there is no display, the screen says 'no signal'.
I've checked all the connection twice.
When I went to the site to check for drivers, the nvidia site couldnt find any card connected when i auto-searched.
Moreover, the motherboard's display port works which generally is disabled when a graphic card is connected.
Please help.

@aatje92 :- I've given my original PSU for replacement, so the temporary PSU supported my GFX card last night.
I'm not sure about BIOS. How do you check that?
My monitor is currently attached to the VGA port of my motherboard.

You need to connect the monitor to the GPU to use it ;).

Lol bro. When I connect my monitor to my GFX card with the help of HDMI cable, It shows 'no signal'.
That's why I am using my Motherboard's VGA connection to find a solution and make my card work.
