Hello i trying to overclock my 7770 card but when i try to overclock some of my games freeze and shut down i dont know if i doing it right of if i need to add voltage to the card, but i heard that voltage could destroy my card

here are my overclock of which i want to apply

core clock 1000 to 1125

memory clock 1125 to 1250

power limit 20%

fan 30%

Voltage i dont know what to do with this if anyone knows that would be great

if you could help me that would be great :)

Solution
Depends how brave you are. :p

Nah, there's no reason to overdo it. AFAIK the stock voltage (under load) is 1.2V. Going to 1.25V should be quite safe. 1.3V shouldn't be bad either.
You can just jump straight from 1000 to 1125. When you overclock a graphics card, you should take it in small steps (5-10 MHz) at a time, while running a stress test to watch for graphics artifacts or overheating. MSI Afterburner has an associated stress test called Kombustor, which is quite useful for that.

So you gradually increase the clocks, and if you run into any graphics artifacts or other glitches, you can bump up the voltage a little (if the temperature is still reasonable) which should increase the clocks that you can achieve. Eventually, as you keep increasing clocks and voltages, too much heat will be generated for the cooler to handle.

I just used trixx to overclock instead

voltage 1250 or 1.25

memory 1204

gpu 1101

sound good?
