So, I am buying the new 6800k from AMD, and I need a motherboard.

I have narrowed it down to the ASRock Fm2A85x Extreme6 or the asus f2a85-v

I will be doing some minor over-clocking (0.5-1GHz) and I will be adding a graphics card later on...

I would really like the cheaper one (Asus F285) but i'm not really sure of the downsides compared with the ASRock.

Thanks in advance...

go with ASRock Fm2A85x Extreme6,it is cheaper, good and strong.it has 3 pci-e slots running at x8/x8/x4 and the asus f2a85-v also has 3 pci-e slots running at x8/x8/x4.moreover,the ASRock supports ram upto 2600mhz(O.C).therefore,the choice is clear,go with ASrock

Okay, the Asus, is actually cheaper where I am, and I doubt that I will be ever overclocking my RAM to 2600!

What should I go with now?
