I short listed two PSU , corsair VS550 and the corsair CX500 . I am buying this PSU so that I can upgrade my graphics card to hd 7750. The CX series is slightly more expensive than the VS series . Is it enough if i buy the VS series or should i go with the CX series .

More about : chose psu

Corsair CX Series is one of the more reliable ones. Go for Bronze Certified 500W PSU.

I would recommend CX in all cases as difference is not that big but you get a better power supply.

the cheaper cooler master psu's are not that good and are overpriced, should go with the cx500 rather than VS550,the cx is 80+ bronze certified

They are both budget power supply lineups , but either one would be a good choice for your system.Corsair 430 watts would also be enough to power your system.

after all it's hd7750,it requires only 400W but get the cx-series and be more future-proofed

Buy the Cosair 430w it's more than enough power to run that card with your setup.

We also have to make sure he do not have to change PSU for installing another thing in his system, like he has to do now.

500 / 550 Watt is not expensive though.
A better idea to be future proof.

Cooler - Get one of the Arctic Coolers -

Approx $50 water cooler from AC.

http://pcpartpicker.com/part/arctic-cooling-cpu-cooler-...

$25 CPU cooler.

Both are good enough. I would recommend AC over CM. Having bad experience with Hyper 212 EVO. System stays hot, not sure if its due to India's temperature or what.

CM hyper 212 is one of the best budget coolers,u think it's not that good is bcoz of india's very hot temp.
gaming sometimes becomes horror due to temp. in here

Yeah could be. Since I live in New Delhi, temperature is around 45C in here during summer times. System stays at around 60C with CM Hyper 212 EVO under load. But so far I have not seen any shut downs due to this.
