GPU: GTX 650 Ti 2GB

I am totally new to overclocking so I will need step by step guide or a source to follow, afaik my cpu can be overclocked upto 3.8Ghz, but I am not sure if that will be compatible with my mobo?
Please inform asap, as I am having problems playing Battlefield 3, all on low, the game wont exceed 34fps.... (vsync off) and sometimes wont go above 60fps. That happens on the lowest and highest settings..!
