Gtx 660 ti vs GYX 670 vs 450w power supply

Hello folks!
So, I would like to change my current Videocard that is a GTX 460. My initial idea, is take the GTX 670 from ASUS (with OC), but I have some doubts about it...

First, Here in my contry, the GTX 660 ti OC (from ASUS) costs approximately U$555 and the GTX 670 OC (from ASUS too) approximately U$724. So, I would like to know if it is worth buying the GTX 670, if it performance is so superior as well.

And my second doubt is about the power supply. I have one NEOTEC 450W, it's not a bad power supply, I know that it can supply the GTX 660ti but I'm not sure about the GTX 670, and if I could chose I would prefer not spend money on a new power supply.

So, what you guys can advise me?

Antec sells good power supplies. I was under the impression you had a NeoTEC, which are inexpensive power supplies mainly sold in Eastern Europe.

If you have an Antec, then I'm more confident about putting a...

Let me just make one more question.

Of course I'm excited about some games, like Watch Dogs and GTA V, so should I wait until they release the recomended settings and buy the recommended videocard or this is unnecessary?

Wow, those prices are brutal. No chance on ordering it from overseas? I don't know your local laws, but that's a $250-$300 premium for the 660 Ti and even worse for the 670.

I would be extremely resistant to add either GPU to that power supply. From the limited information even available on Neotec power supplies, I see no reason to believe that you have a decent power supply. I would prefer to have a GTX 460 with a good power supply than a GTX 660 or a GTX 670 with a cheap power supply. Considering how expensive GPUs are where you live, I'd be even more determined to protect my components, not less so.

I can import, but the government will increase 60% of the price of the product and I'll have to pay. So I'll pay basicly the same price

And Antec isn't a good power supply? Wow, I heard the opposite...ok, so, I can buy a Corsair or a Cooler Master 750w power supply for U$171. They are good, right?

And I still can pick the GTX660ti.

Do you guys think this is a better idea?

My only 'fear' is buy the gtx660ti and in a near future it did not run the games as well.

If you have an Antec, then I'm more confident about putting a 660Ti in there, assuming you have the connectors available. And if you had a 460 in there, you did. 670, I'd still feel easier with 500W or more.

My only worry is that while a 660 is a significant upgrade on a 460, the cost is just *so* high that you might be better off waiting another year or more. The 460 is still a usable card and considering how much money you need to spend to upgrade, I think I'd wait until the 460 started having trouble at medium settings before making a jump.

Yes, you are right.

I still can run games on high/ultra settings without AA sometimes (at least most of them)
And according the price, it's not a smart idea.

Here we need to pay U$1945 for a GTX titan and the minimun salary here is just U$308, great country.
Anyway, I'll wait, at least until the release of GTA V and watch dogs, them I'll see the recomended settings and I'll buy a new video card based on that.

I definitely think a wait-and-see approach is the right one to take. When everything's that expensive, you *really* want to make those upgrades count.

I actually expect Grand Theft Auto V to be quite playable on a 460. It's still based on the RAGE engine and still headed to the current consoles. Max Payne 3 last year ran just fine on average settings if you didn't require 1080p.

Let me ask you something.

What's your opinion about the AMD video-cards?

To be honest, I don't like them because I like the nvidia ''after-purchase support'', they release a new driver just a few days after some game release and they have Physx and etc. And as far as I know the RADEONS don't have this support, but, they are cheaper than the nvidias and have a similar performance.

So is valid to think about acquire a radeon?
