System Usage Most to Least Important: Gaming, Movies, Web Browsing
Parts to upgrade: Everything
Do you need to buy OS: Yes
Preferred website(s) for parts: Any website
Monitor Resolution: 1900x1080
Do you need to buy Monitor: Yes
Overclocking: Yes
Crossfire/SLI: Yes, in the future

What i come up with so far: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/17rev

Additional comments: im willing to add another $100 max if it's really worth it. Please advice on the best crossfire/SLI future ready build for my budget. If you can fit a gtx 780 w/ monitor then SLI in the future is not required. IPS panel monitor is a must. Thanks alot, good forum, very informative. :D

I think that it's a good overall build, nothing that must be changed.

wow dude, that's good. thanks very much. :D

heres how i would do it
http://pcpartpicker.com/p/17tNd

-better cooler is necessary for haswell
-better board for around the same price. asrock still uses low quality VRMs compared to gigabyte
-cheaper ram that is just as good
-better SSD.
-much better GPU. dual video setups actually work properly on the nvidia side
-a case is that is miles better
-much better psu. also made by seasonic
-cheaper monitor but the dell is fine

wow, i would definitely want a 770 instead, that's great, i prefer SLI. i dont know much about the R2 case and SSDs, but they look great. i think i'll stick with the hyper 212 evo cooler. i'll get the gigabyte mobo and XFX psu then. i don't mind any type or ram as long it's low profile. and i'll still choose the dell monitor. Thanks alot! :D

the arc mdi r2 is a airflow version of the define r4. you still get the same super sized psu grommet and over an inch of cabling space in the back. for 65 bucks, its a steal

the ballistix sport is probably the lowest profile dimms you can get. id still suggest the phanteks cooler over the hyper 212. you will need the cooling on haswell chips

ram is pretty much the same. they both dont overclock, they both perform the same, and if one is cheaper than the other, whats the point of buying the more expensive kit? if it was samsung ram, then we'd be talking a entirely different story

the fractal is just as good if not better for cheaper

they are both seasonic units

Think you'll get the best performance with this. You'll be able to SLI and feel free to upgrade the MOBO to an extreme 4 if you want to spend extra money. But the extreme 3 is having a sale right now.

You get a lot of discounts for the sales going on right now.

Yea i agree. i heard Asrock is down in quality lately. But you won't really notice too much of a difference. If you want to spend 20-30$ more bucks. Go get a Gigabyte or Asus board. They're really around the same, just a tiny bit of quality.

I would say just go with the extreme 3 since there's a sale. But your call really.

rest of the build should be really good. with TONS of great great sales such as the 300R for only 50$!!! 1866hm Ram 57$! Which is like 10$ lower than a 1600hm 8GB RAM

Also i think the corsair should be fine. It's bronzed certified as well, sure the XF may be a bit better in quality, but this will save you 20$ and it's also from a great company. (also having a sale)
