3570k(about 200$),
z77 pro3 (about 100$),
corsair 750w(85$),
1tb HDD (65$),
8gb ram (any 1600mhz 60$),
case about 50$ (your preference),
and u still have 240$ for GPU.
buy something like GTX 660 or even 660TI and you are good to go.

This build is very flexible and some parts can be found a little cheaper.

vsamsinovs's recommendation is not far off from what I would recommend.

However, I don't think you can adequately do what you're trying to do for $800

BF3 doesn't seem to care very much about CPUs. I would get a $120 i3 and save $80. This will also allow you to get a less expensive H77 chipset motherboard for about $70 instead of a Z77 chipset motherboard for $100. Bringing your savings to $110.

You only need a 500W PSU if you're running a single GPU setup. Check this resource: http://www.extreme.outervision.com/psucalculatorlite.js...

Are you very familiar with video capture for LP videos? Many use a hardware solution, since recording video while running BF3 sucks a lot of performance out of your system. If you're building this machine expressly for the purpose of recording live gameplay, you probably want to invest in a 1x PCIe card like this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Can we assume that you mean at FHD (1920x1080)?.

i3 CPU $120
H77 MoBo $70
Windows 7 $80 (if you watch for discounts)
500W PSU $60
1TB HDD $65
8GB RAM $50 (buy the cheapest 1600Mhz or 1333Mhz DDR3 you can find)
Case $50
x1 PCIe Video Recording Card $189
That leaves $150 for the GPU, and you need a $300 GPU in order play BF3 on Ultra on FHD in the 50s for FPS.

The two best GPUs for $200 fall short of your FPS threshold by 10 FPS. http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/geforce-gtx-660-gef...
