Hello all...first off I want to say that this site has helped me quite a bit in looking at parts and understanding what's what.

I want to build a new computer, and I want to do it from scratch instead of using a site like ibuypower.com This will be my very first time doing so and I was hoping I could have someone more familiar with this kind of stuff give me a little advice. I have some parts picked out and if someone could look over them and make sure it would all run together I would appreciate it SO much. This is all very new to me and I'm quite intimidated :/

Where I'm confused:
Ram - Is it worth it getting that kind of ram? Is there better?

CPU cooling - Is that all the cooling I'll need for the whole computer? Or is that just for the processor? Do I need more fans? Should I get a water cooler?

Whats a good temperature sensor? I'd like one that shows temp, fans running, and a way to manually make them run faster etc (if thats a thing)

With just what I have here will I need anything extra? Thermal glue, cables of any kind, mounting brackets, etc

This will all fit in that case as well right?

I'm sure you guys get posts like this all the time. I would super appreciate the help, I've never put anything together before and want to make sure I'm doing absolutely everything right.

Thanks!

Corsair Vengeance ram is one of the most popular brands out there, and unless you add more you won't see much of a performance boost.16 GB is more than enough for gaming, Photoshop, and 3d modeling. Only in special cases will a machine require more.

The case comes with 4 fans and unless you're going to overclock a ton then you don't need water cooling. Here is a fan controller with temp monitor: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811992005.

You may want to get cable ties for cable management in the case. Your motherboard and CPU are incompatible (different socket types). I would go with this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157287. Or if money isn't an issue go with the asus sabertooth board. Honestly though you probably don't need an i7 and a Haswell i5-4670 with an ASROCK z87 extreme 3 or 4 LGA 1150 board would save you money and wouldn't sacrifice much performance(if this is for gaming). Also you may want to go with the EVGA gtx 690 due to its better reviews(at this point what's another 20 bucks).

Other then that this is a sick build.
