Asus Maximus VI Extreme vs Gigabyte G1.Sniper 5

Making new build: 4770K, GTX 780 X2, 16GB 2400MHZ

Can't decide what gaming motherboard to pick. Want to overclock the CPU 4.5GHz+ stable. The Gigabyte G1.Sniper 5 seems to be a little more expensive.

Which do you think is the best motherboard for features and overclocking?

Can't help on the mobo if u are locked into those two but will say spending a lot doesn't have tangible results in gaming even with dual gpu's:

That leads me to the ram - do you have a use case where u need 2400? Unless haswell does something very different there's no point above 1600 for gaming:

Water cooling, mainly Blu-ray /home theater, heavy video editing & photoshop not much else mainly Gaming

Still either would be a good choice, might throw price in and save where you can, invest that in more and/or higher freq DRAM which would help with the editing and Photoshop projects

For gaming? I'd get the Biostar Hi-Fi ..yes indeedy I would;and put the saved $ to a more powerful GPU
Oh..and keep in mind that Haswell will clock RAM as high as the RAM will go..

Depends on the CPU model as far as DRAM goes, the K models can go with high freq, the locked models not very much.......I myself, like with MSI won't touch lower tier mobos like BioStar
