My Windows only boots on new rig.

It goes in a boot loop and I looked up how to fix the boot loop and that did not solve the problem so I decided to see if windows was correctly installed so I put the hard drives into my newer rig and they booted up windows normally.
I pretty sure windows was installed on the old rig.
The old rig has
msi p965 neo
intel duo core 2.13 ghz
gtx 260
My newer rig has
msi h61
intel i5 2500 3.3ghz
gtx 560

He could have made a mistake with that info, or Windows configured itself on the new system to boot, causing the issue with the old system.
Either way, the fix is to install two separate clean Windows setups on the computers.
