Hello everyone,

I recently built my first PC and I also overclocked my 3570k to 4.4Ghz.

Specs:
3570k
ASRock z77 Extreme4
Kingston HyperX 1600Mhz 2x4GB
Cooler Master Seidon 120M
Zalman Z11 Plus Case

Since I overclocked my CPU to 4.4Ghz, I ran Prime95 for 15 hours and the max temp it reached was 87*C. I was told that 87*C was not the best temp but it should be alright. But as you can see in my specs I did not include a GPU, as I am waiting for the NVIDIA GeFore 760ti to come out. So my question is...
Will the temps on my CPU become too high once I have my new GPU installed? If so I guess I may have to reduce my OC to 4.2Ghz perhaps?

Thanks in advance to anyone who replies!

You should be OK. But do test again anyway since a graphics card may well add heat to the insides of the case.
I prefer the direct exhaust blower type coolers which get heat directly out of the case.
You might also try some other stress testers like occt and intel burn test. They stress the cpu in different ways.

Alright Ill do another test afterwards. The case I have has 5 exhaust fans and 1 intake fan, so I don't believe that getting rid of the hot air will be an issue. But I will for sure try those other stress testers too. Thanks for the reply!
