what graphics card with pci std and works on win 7

i have a HP desktop with a pent4,A814X motherboard,3gb of DDR ram,and a 160gb HD.I replaced XP with win7 and i am now having video playing issues,freezes up or wont load.Do I need a new graphics card it has the factory built in one still.Oh the screensaver wont work either.I do not have any pci express slots only pci std. thanks

Your desktop is actually too old for win7 to run proprely. You got lucky that you could even run win7. It would be a better bet for you to buy a new computer (even a cheap 250$ computer can outperform your current computer).

But if you insist getting a PCI standard card, the only one that can work with win7 is the GeForce FX 5200, 5500 and 5600.
Just be sure to not buy the AGP version, and to buy the PCI version.
However, you can only find used FX cards, since they are already discontinued a while ago.
