Will a 500W PSU work for this upgrade?

Here is my current setup:
FX-8320 CPU, 7770 1GB GPU, 8GB DDR3 RAM (2 4GB sticks if it matters), 1 "Combo" drive ripped out of a HP prebuilt, 3 7200RPM SATA HDDs, 1 120mm fan, and 2 140mm fans (Fractal Design 3000 case, so fan controller included).

So far, I've been just fine powering these on a 500W PSU. However, I'm planning to upgrade by adding in another 7770 to Crossfire together. The "eXtreme" PSU calculator shows that I'll be fine, but I wanted a second opinion. Would a 500W PSU work for this upgrade? If not, which PSU should I get for a decent price to power this rig?

Which 500W PSU? It's a bit like asking if your car can do 125MPH. Which car?

My apologies: It's the Inland "Gold Series" ILG-500 - I'm aware that it doesn't have a second 6-pin power connector, so I'm planning to pick up a molex to 6-pin adapter - I just want to know if this PSU will supply enough power for the rig once I crossfire the cards.

Don't think so. You have a claimed 336W on the 12V rail. You are looking to add another ~100W GPU to your already 125W CPU and 100W GPU. That's worst case 325 already. Counting the board and drives/fans, you're over the 336W that unit claims to be able to deliver. I'd argue that because they only gave you one 6pin PCIe plug they didn't want you CF/SLIing with it.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure the TR2 is not a good one. I don't see full 600W on the 12V rail. Even if you added them together, which you should almost never do, you get 43A. That comes out to 516W. But you still have the red voltage select switch so odds are high you are dealing with an older design. And the price is still to low for what you are buying.

We usually suggest an Antec, Corsair, Enermax, Seasonic, or XFX PSU. Though there are other good ones out there.

That CX500 Corsair will power your system with no problem.
