So here's the thing, I left my computer turned on overnight since I was doing a project. I fell asleep while doing the project, when I woke up computer is turned off and won't turn on anymore. Not sure what happened.

I'm using an ASUS P8P67-M motherboard and a HEC Cougar G1050 PSU.

The DRAM LED of my motherboard is not lighting up. So I was thinking wether the problem is the PSU or my motherboard.

Not really sure on how to test wether which is the problem.
Is my PC just on hiatus or it's faulty?
Any ideas on what caused this? (short circuit?etc?)
Is there still a way to fix this?

PS. updated my BIOS 22hours earlier before this problem occured.

Thank you in advance!

I would reset the CMOS. Mind you, this will reset any and all overclocking you've done, and revert any ram timings and voltages back to default, so you'll have to do that over again if you want to. You can always get a voltmeter to test the PSU (the details on how to do that I'm not sure on). Resetting the CMOS may or may not revert the bios version back to default as well, again I'm not sure. I just know that any time my computer won't start after messing with settings, resetting CMOS is always the cure. Find your mobo manual and locate the CMOS ... what's the word... JUMPER! it's usually 3 pins. Just remove the jumper from the 2 pins it's connected to, replace the jumper on the other 2 pins (this is to say, there's a third pin there, so connect it to say pin 2 and 3 as opposed to pin 1 and 2), wait a second, then reconnect the jumper to the original 2 pins. This will reset the CMOS. Also, don't forget to take all precautions before doing so, disconnect power, turn PSU switch off, discharge static electricity, etc.

Oh yeah, after the BIOS update everything is working fine I was able to work on my project. Just after that 22 hours things got messed up. So does this still apply? :)

Thanks for the reply sir :)

When you mean by "power good green LED" is it the LED on the motherboard? If it is, it's not turned on. Actually it doesn't even power up when I press the power button =\

Decided to bring the PSU and motherboard to a service center since I don't have the propper equipment to check which is which is faulty -_- . Will update what comes of it -_- . Though I have a feeling that the PSU is the one at fault, though have no way to test it =\
