I know nothing about computer specs or their meanings. I am an active online gamer and I am tired of the lag and choppy graphics. I need help getting a new graphics card that will work with my computer and is no more than $200. Please help!

Also, my computer says it is a 64 bit but how come it says my current display mode is only 32 bit? I typed in dxdiag and clicked "Run as 64 bit) but I don't think it did anything.

Below are my specs. Please let me know if I need to include more information, thank you!!

Hewlett Packard

OS: Windows 7 64bit

Processor: AMD Phenom II x4 830 Processor (4 CPUs) ~ 2.8GHz

Memory: 8192MB RAM

Hard Drive: 748 GB

Graphics Card: ATI Radeon HD 4650

Chip Type: ATI display adapter (0x9498)

Approx. Total Memory: 4083 MB

Current Display Mode: 1920 x 1080 (32 bit) (59 HZ)

32 bit display mode refers to the depth of colors not the instruction set.

"Lag" is cause by a high ping / bad connection

To update that PC i would recommend a Sapphire Radeon HD7850 i believe that fits right in your budget.

What are the specs of your PSU before you do this though?

The best card at this budget is a gtx 650 ti boost 2gb
I love that card.Great value for money.I prefer that over the 7850 because it has auto driver updates and optimizes games automatically for you.NOTE:if you buy 7850 or gtx 650 ti boost you need to upgrade your power supply to 550W or 600W.I highly recommend a 600W but a 550W will be ok too.

32 bit on the monitor is normal. No monitors produce more than 32 bit. They only produce 32 and 16 bit.It has nothing to do with 64 bit OS.
