Recently, the company that I work for moved offices and the new Ip address that I have been given to log in remotely via, remote desktop connection is different. It works, and I can log in ok. However, when I have used tracer IP, the IP address that I have been given comes up with the name of a mailserver which has nothing to do with who I work for. I am curious. Could anyone explain this to me. Could it just be that the mailserver ip address did belong to another company before it was used by ours? Thank-you greatly in advance for your expert comments
