The first build is a bit silly,as you've paired an APU with a high end graphics card. The whole point of APUs is that you dont need a graphics card, and when you're using a 7870, you may as well grab an fx 6300, or spend a bit more to get an i5.

Also higher wattage, extends the lifetime of the PSU as you wont give it such a high load to deal with. performance wise its almost completely unrelated apart rom needing to be certain it can power the whole system :L

If you intend to do anything more than use one browser tab, do not even look at a PC with 2gb of RAM in this day and age.

Give a purpose for the PC and a maximum budget and we can give you a part list for a self build that will serve you.

Ah yes i didnt notice that, i would of course be going with 8GB RAM. I have a budget of 700 GBP but dont really want to build it myself! It will be used for Gaming and day to daybrowsing etc, however maxing out all games isnt that important.

Could do worse than this for a rough guide. But bear in mind any pre-built will be limited in what you can do to upgrade it at a later date.

Assuming you already have a mouse and keyboard. + antivirus is best supplied by yourself.

If you need office and cant afford it with the pc, you should look at openoffice. It works fine for domestic use, just doesnt necessarily always agree with programs in actual offices.

And an EU to UK wall adapter. but they are pretty dang cheap.

Pretty good for a prebuilt. Just ask what RPM the HDD is capable of. Its the only component they dont specify. 7200+ and your golden for the money. (Use the contact seller option)

Looks much better (case) than the Bedir Build :p
