Hi, yesterday i posted an issue with my computer.

I tried to use an old driver, and i thought that it worked out pretty good. but than again it happened. Everything freezes again.

Everytime that i start up windows, 3 sec after it freezes. In safe mode it works without any freeze. And now as i am writing, i have deleted all Nvidia drivers, and then there is no freeze.

What could this be? :(

My setup:
Nvidia Geforce GTX 560
Intel core i5 3570k
Asrock Z77 Pro4
Powerunit: Energon EPS-750W

Solution

hmm, kinda hard to tell, i will suggest you some things try them in order
1. check temps.
2. go to safe mode, use driver sweeper...

1. check temps.
2. go to safe mode, use driver sweeper, make sure there are no driver remains left, and try another old driver, one that you didnt use, and that alot of people say is stable.
3. unplug you grapichs card completly, including the power cables, then place in back in another pcie slot, if you only have one, place it again in the same one, i have seen such problems being fixed just from unpluging the power cables and plugging them back in.

Okay, so i did everything in the same order as you wrote it. I installed af older driver (314). so far no problems :D - i looked some more on the net, and found this: http://modcrash.com/nvidia-display-driver-damaging-gpus/#.UcBUiflHImk .

I have some of the same problems, that are mentioned in the link. So i think it was the Nvidia 320 driver, that did all this.

Hopefully it stay working like this :)

Thank you for your help!!

David.
