This is my first time building my own rig, it'll be for gaming and video editing mostly, i was wondering if all of these components and the case work fine together?
I'm from the UK and probably be buying my components from novatech.
My budget is around £700.
I'll most likely settle with a 1080p monitor, and i'm not planning for sli; However i'm upping the psu so i can get a gtx 680 or 780 when they drop in price.
Any suggestions or constructive criticisms are appreciated.

Case:NZXT Guardian 921
PSU:Corsair Gaming Series GS700 - 700W
Motherboard:MSI H61M-P31 [1155]
Processor:3rd Gen I5 3570K 3.40GHZ
Ram:Novatech 8GB (1x8GB) 1333 DDR3
Graphics:GeForce GTX 560 Ti
Cooling:CoolerMaster HYPER 212 Evo

Thanks for your time

Aside from the memory, which I never heard of, all else is compatible. I assume you intended to post 2x4GB, and not 1X8GB, since the mobo you selected only has two RAM slots, and all other 1155 mobos only have 4.
As for the RAM stick with reputable bands: mainly Corsair/Kingston/Gskill, and the likes.

Thanks for the feedback, i appreciate it, and it's good to know it's all compatible. In the description of the motherboard on Novatech's website it says DDR3 [Max16GB] so i figure i could buy an 8GB stick for the first ram slot, and update it to 16 later on. I might go with Corsair since they have quite a reliable reputation, whereas Novatechs own brand i'm unsure about; something like the
Corsair Vengeance 8GB (1x8GB) DDR3 1600MHz perhaps.

Sorry, my bad, thinking of something else.
I'm not sure, I'll have to check, but I think 1155 is double channel...Never worked with it myself. I don't know how it would behave with just one chanel populated. In fact I haven't seen a one DIMM slot system since...I'll try to find out.

Thanks for your help, i just had a small concern with this build, i was wondering if the NZXT guardian will house all the components without any issues.
If needs be i could get 2x4GB sticks and update them to 2x8 at a later date.
I appreciate the feedback, cheers
