Console Killer PC

Hi, I've been using an Xbox 360 and one of my friends always tells me that PC is better. So after consideration I decided to start saving for a gaming PC. I'm a noob when it comes to this so I don't know if these parts are compatible. Any tips are appreciated and I want to know if this is better than an Xbox or PS3. Thanks

Good choices.
Only thing I would change is too the black version of the Prodigy. It has a mesh front panel while all the other colours are solid, completely chokes the front 200mm fan.

seems like a good build, do you plan on OC? you are using an unlocked CPU and z77 mobo which would work for OCing but i would recommend a CPU Cooler if you do but besides that it is a nice build

Great build. The only problem I have is the motherboard. That motherboard costs $75 more than the one OP is using.

Your Mobo was fine and no need to spend another 75$ on that one, plus your color scheme will go away with the blue mobo, just my opinion

The mobo is within my budget, and I don't mind spending an extra $75 dollars because I want to overclock anyways. Plus my case has no windows so the colour scheme doesn't matter to me.
