I would get the FX-8350 for overclockability.

If you don't mind the extra heat the fx8350 is the better long term cpu even if its not the more efficient one. Gaming right now you wont notice a difference but hopefully with the new gen consoles supporting 8 threads each the 8350 will be better long term combined with overclocking as ksham mentioned, plus you can upgrade to steamroller rumor has it.

The advantage of the 4570 is mostly noise/heat related so if you prefer a cooler running system without overclocking then that would be a better choice.

The lga1150 motherboards are actually finally onpar with amd's selection feature wise. But you'll pay more on the low end and about onpar on the high end as far as cost goes.

If you do software raid intels raid is superior to amd but both are still not what I would consider trustworthy.

I have the 4570, and it works great, I would imagine the FX8350 is better for overclocking, but I don't need to over clock for anything yet, so I like the 4570 because it's quiet and cool, and I definitely like having Intel parts.
