I'm looking to do a little upgrading, but will only have about $200 to work with.....So the question is this: Would it be worth it to switch out my 4.16ghz E8500 for an i3-3220 (combo deal on newegg)? I realize that the i3 won't overclock, but the board would get me into a newer chipset than what I currently have, which would allow for a CPU upgrade down the road....Would I actually see any improvement over my current setup?

CPU: E8500 (OC'd to 4.16ghz)
Board: DX48BT2
RAM: 2x4gb PNY Optima DDR3
PSU: Thermaltake 750w
GPU: ASUS 650ti OC 2GB
HSF: Coolermaster Hyper 212 Evo

If you read the original message, I stated that I would have about $200 that I could spend on getting a CPU and a motherboard....I haven't seen any place where I could get a decent motherboard, along with an i5 processor for that price....

So I went a completely different direction, since finances allowed it.

Board: MSI Z87-GD65
CPU: Intel i5-4670k
RAM: Patriot Dual Viper 3 Red 2133mhz 2x4GB
Video: MSI Geforce GTX 760 (arriving today)
