Passive Cooled HD 5450 Temperature

As the title states, I'm curious what the normal(idle) temp is for this GPU, mine hovers around 60-65C on idle, and 70-75C on load. Is this a safe temperature? Thanks.

That sounds about right for a passively cooled GPU, even one as massively underpowered and low-end as that one.

I wouldn't want it to exceed 85-88c.

mine is at a chilly 44, have you overclocked yours? I think it's good up to about 80 but personally I'd be worried at 70

Wow, thats cold.

Nope. Have not overclocked it whatsoever. Just recorded the temp right now. Reached 78 while playing games. i.e. SC2
Can opening the side panel be an option to cool it more? If not, what are ways to cool the PC better? I dont have any exhaust fans.

I wouldn't be to worried. Temps up to the 70s wouldn't be that rare for a passively cooled card unless you have very good airflow.

Sooo, in short, temps within the 70-80 range are still safe?

And can removing the side panel help airflow/cooling? Thaaaanks.

I would not remove the side panel. That will leave your system unprotected, and that would actually impede airflow I think, if its closed your front fans will blow through the case and exhaust through the rear or top fan/fans.
